1. Log into the backend of your WordPress website
Login with your administrator account using the login panel that you can find at the following URL: https://YourDomainName.com/wp-admin
2. Load the plugins section of your WordPress Dashboard
Once you have logged in hover over the Plugins tab and click on Installed Plugins. There you will be able to see all the information about the plugins that your WordPress website is using.
3. Next step is to click on the Update Available tab
Under the Update Available tab you will find the plugins that have an update ready to be installed rolled out by the developers. This update can contain new features, security fixes and improvements as well as performance improvements.
4. The final step: Updating all the plugins in the list
Now, to update the website Themes follow these steps:
- Go to Dashboard > Updates from the top of the left menu
- Check the box next to each theme in the list
- Click Update Themes
